Corine (Amsterdam) and Martin (Bonn/Germany) are teachers of tango in their hometowns for more then ten years.
They organize regular milongas like "La Bruja" in Amsterdam, "Milonga a los amigos" in Bonn and "Palais" in Koblenz.
Since the beginning of 2008 Corine and Martin started working together and are celebrated teachers in the Netherlands and in Germany.
In July 2008 they taught for the first time a tango-holiday-week at "La Milonga" in Le Coq Banni.

Martin and Corine share their passion for the typical "Buenos Aires way" of dancing - the "milonguero" style -.
They practised with teachers like Tete Rusconi, Susana Miller, Cacho Dante, Javier Rodriquez and Geraldine Rojas, Carlos Gavito and Maria Plazaola, Pablo and Noelia, Andres Laza Moreno and others. Annual visits to Buenos Aires keep their dancing fresh and provides them with new ideas.

The summerweeks are the best opportunities to work deeply on issues that we take from our dance-experience in Buenos Aires: Our aim is that you find the subtle complex where we are one-self in the dance, being sensitive for the partner and moving effortless together in the most musical way. Experiencing tango in this way is SIMPLY GREAT. 

The tango is never just a relation between "leader" and "follower", but two individuals, that share a moment and a movement. You can create and experience poetry at the same time because you share the music with someone else. Being together and enjoying each other, still as two sovereign persons, is the great gift tango has for us. 

Our teaching is always connected to the music, the orchestras of the 40ies, the singers and in general the tango characters of the old times, their ideas and the stories of their lives. We want you to melt into this music when you dance, and that you connect with the personalities and the culture in the background.

And yes! Of course we teach "steps" - and very nice ones, too! With rhythmical steps we dance to orchestras like D'Arienzo, Biagi or Rodriguez, with softer and slower ones to Pugliese, D'Agostino or Caló. But of course we mix them quite often as well. Nice steps make us feel light and easy when we dance, they make us fly, even when we pause.

This is the poetry of tango: being free and together, melting into the music and feeling you FLY!

The tangoweeks take place from 31st of july till the 7th of august (<3 years of tango) and from 7th to 14th of august (>3 years of intensive tango).
